Digital Arts Group

Thanks MacPI and DAG

I have been a member of the Digital Arts Group since the early 90s. The group was called MacPI back then. We used to go out for pie after the meetings. Macintosh, Apple, Pie: get it? We still go out occasionally after the meetings, but more often we eat chips and salsa than pie. At some point, we changed the name to Digital Arts Group to better reflect our widening focus.

I have benefited tremendously from my association with the people in this organization. The advice I have received over the years has been instrumental in the growth of my business as a graphic designer. I have made lifetime friends. I encourage people to get involved in this and other interest groups. Participate and volunteer. You might be surprised at how much you receive in return.

Board members needed

The Digital Arts Group is dependent on having active board members. We elect board members every December. The group would not exist if it wasn't for people who cared to see this association continue. Please consider nominating yourself or a fellow member to the board. It only requires a little work but you get many rewards. We have 4 board meetings in a year and you should be willing to help come up with meeting topics, contribute a door prize, and/or write for this blog. The board positions are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and 2 Member at Large. If you would like to be involved, please contact Joann at j.schissel at mchsi dot com.

Renew or Become a Member of DAG

Hi. My name is Barb Gordon. I am the treasurer for the Digital Arts Group. If you are currently a member of DAG, please renew your membership so you can continue to get notices about meetings and participate in drawings. Only dues paying members are eligible to win drawing prizes. We have given away an iShuffle, Tiger software, a $100 gift certificate and lot of other great items. Dues are only $25 per year.
